We talk about leadership all the time — managing teams, motivating employees, growing a community.
But here’s the truth no one really says: the hardest person to lead is yourself.
When you work on your own projects, nobody is there to push you forward. Nobody cares if you skip a day. Nobody reminds you of your own mission.
This week showed me that over and over again. I missed posts. I fell behind. Nobody forced me back on track — I had to do that myself.
Self-leadership is about:
✅ holding yourself accountable
✅ keeping promises to yourself
✅ making hard decisions without external validation
✅ creating your own momentum
This is the foundation of leading others. Because if you cannot lead yourself, how can you ever hope to guide a team, a community, or a movement?
Weekend Reflection Prompt:
👉 Where in your life are you waiting for someone else to push you — when it’s actually your job to push yourself?
I’d love to hear your thoughts — drop a comment or reply.
